NGI 2009 focuses on the design, engineering, and operation of Next Generation Internet networks. It is organized by the Network of Excellence (NoE) Euro-NF that was initiated by the European Commission during the 7th framework program. Euro-NF serves as its main platform for interaction, dissemination, and collaboration. To stimulate discussions, NGI 2009 invites scientists and practitioners from industry and academia, and especially welcomes contributions from outside Euro-NF. To guarantee the high visibility of the conference, the proceedings will be available through IEEE Xplore.
Original papers on recent advances in next generation networking are invited. Topics of interest are - but are not limited to - the following areas:

The papers are published in the conference proceedings distributed on CD at the conference. In addition, they are published by IEEE Press and made available through IEEE Xplore. Each paper is going to be reviewed by at least three reviewers. The publication of an accepted paper requires the registration of at least one author. One author registration is valid for up to three papers.
Submitted papers must not be longer than 8 pages. The paper must contain a short abstract (up to 250 words), the complete list of authors including affiliations, and keywords. The layout of the papers must comply with the IEEE Xplore standards (PDF sample layout).

Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version for a special issue of the Telecommunication Systems journal from Springer.
